We develop in Next.js, with static or server rendering chosen page by page. Technical search engine optimisation is not an extra added afterwards: structure, metadata, structured data and sitemap are ready at go-live. Accessibility is taken into account from the design stage, then measured. No needless cookies, no external service slowing the page down.
How we go about it
Screens are drawn before they are coded. You approve the mock-up, then we write the site; your copy is reviewed with you; the go-live carries over the addresses of the old site so that Google loses nothing.

Before building or redesigning a site
Do I need a content management area?
If your copy changes every week, yes, and we train you to use it. If it changes a few times a year, keeping it in the code costs less, in maintenance as well as in attack surface, than an administration area that has to be secured. We decide with you.
Why not WordPress?
Plugins to watch, updates every month, published vulnerabilities. A Next.js site has no plugins to maintain and loads faster. If you are set on WordPress, we are not the right provider, and we will tell you so.
Will I lose my search rankings by changing site?
No, if the redesign is done carefully: every old address is redirected to the new one, titles are kept and we measure before and after.
How much does a website cost?
