Service 09 · Websites and web applications
An accessible town hall website, cookie-free, hosted in France.
News, by-laws, council minutes, procedures and contact details: a clear site that the town hall staff update themselves, with accessibility measured and declared, no cookies, on our servers in France.
First conversation free.
A municipality's website is not a commercial showcase
It is a public service: residents go there to find opening hours, a form, a by-law, the minutes of the last council meeting. And it is subject to obligations that many municipal websites still ignore: accessibility, protection of residents' data, legal notice, hosting under control.
- 01
The municipality with no website. Residents look for the town hall on Google and find a third-party directory. A simple, clean, up-to-date site changes that.
- 02
The ageing website. Set up ten years ago, no longer updated, unreadable on a phone, with no accessibility statement. A redesign is the chance to start again on a sound footing.
- 03
Town hall staff who publish on their own. Publishing without depending on a provider for every news item: your staff are trained to put content online, and that is included in the project.
Four obligations, and how we meet them
- 01
Accessibility. The site is designed according to the rules of the RGAA, the French accessibility standard (contrast, structure, keyboard, screen readers), measured with tools before go-live, and delivered with the accessibility statement to publish. We write down what has been measured, without claiming a compliance that only an independent audit can establish.
- 02
Residents' data. No third-party cookies, no foreign audience measurement, a protected form with no tick box, a documented record of processing activities and hosting in France, under French law.
- 03
Statutory publications. By-laws, council decisions, council minutes, public inquiries: dedicated sections, dated and archived, that the town hall staff update in a few clicks.
- 04
Written quote and long-term continuity. A detailed scope and a price before the council votes, a fixed monthly fee for hosting and maintenance, no surprise redesign in the next budget. The site, its code and its domain name remain the property of the municipality.

Questions from councillors and town hall secretaries
Is accessibility really compulsory?
Yes: public online services in France must be accessible, with an accessibility statement and a compliance plan. We deliver the statement based on what has been measured; full compliance is established by an independent audit. An accessible site also serves older people, people with visual impairments, and people with a poor connection.
Who updates the site afterwards?
Your staff. Publishing a news item, a by-law or a photo is done from a simple interface, with no technical skills needed; training is part of the project. If nobody has the time, we can handle the publications for you, on a quote.
Where is the municipality's data hosted?
The site and its database run in France, on our servers, under French law. Backups are encrypted before they leave our servers; their main copy stays in the European Union, with a second copy in France. You receive a data processing agreement (DPA) and the list of our sub-processors.
How does the quote work for a municipal council?
A written quote, with the detailed scope, the price for building the site and the fixed monthly fee for hosting and maintenance: one line to vote on, with no surprise in the next budget.
Our municipality is small. Is this reasonable?
That is exactly why the scope is flexible: a small municipality does not need a full portal, but a site that is accurate, up to date and compliant. We size the project to the municipality, not the other way round.
Timelines, quotes, code ownership, end of contract: the answers are in the FAQ.
Quoted per project. Price ranges are published on the pricing page, along with what makes a budget vary.
